RECIPE

We are collecting recipes for a future cookbook and thought the following might be appropriate for the season:

REUBEN SANDWICH

2 T. butter

8 slices rye bread

8 slices Swiss cheese

8 slices corned beef

1 cup sauerkraut, drained

1/2 c. Thousand Island Dressing

Preheat large skillet on medium heat.  Lightly butter one side of bread slice. Spread non-buttered sides with Thousand Island Dressing. Then layer slices of Swiss cheese, 2 slices of corned beef and 1/4 c. sauerkraut and second slice of Swiss cheese.  Top with remaining bread (Buttered sides out)  Grill sandwiches till both sides are golden brown, about 15 minutes per side.  Serve hot.

OWLS & OWLS

Owls were one item we saw a lot of at the shows. So if you are into Owls,

we have one style so far, but he/she is cute!

We have a wide variety of greens to put in baskets, pitchers, vases, etc. 

 From short to tall.  A lot of the greens are good spring, summer and into fall.

And if you are still holding on to the Christmas pines, it's time for a new look!

Easter is on the way! We have begun to display the Easter accents. Bunnies, chicks, crosses, and eggs will be appearing as time flies by.

And of course we always have baskets.
