I feel much more like cooking on these chilly, winterish (even though it's fall) evenings. And there is nothing better than the warmth of the oven and the smell and the taste of our PEACH CRUNCH DESSERT, submitted by Jean Teeple in our recipe/memory book. We sold out of our first 50, and have recieved more-- think Christmas gifts!!
Very Easy (my style) and Very Tasty:
2- 29 oz. cans peaches (drain 1 can)
1 butter brickle or yellow cake mix (dry)
1 stick oleo
optional - 1 cup nuts
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9x13 pan. Pour peaches in pan; cover with dry cke mix. Melt butter and drizzle over cake mix. Sprinkle with nuts and bake 1 hour.
