Finally! I treated my daughters to a trip for their '30th' birthdays, (yes we are a few years late). It was a plus that we waited because we had free vouchers to fly. It wasn't an easy decision to decide 'where', but we settled on Texas, thinking we would maybe never drive there. I've read a lot about Fredricksburg, TX a tourist town with wildflower and herb farms, lots of history, etc.

Well here we are arriving at our little cabin we reserved for 2 nights. We were intriqued by the fact that it was decorated by a lady that has decorated for HGTV and Country Living.
Just our style!!! All vintage and original ideas, we were so excited!!
If you like this style, you'll love the pics, if not move on...

A large branch hung on one wall with numbers and sconces. I loved this collage of old clock faces that were just glued together.
The bathroom vanity was an old buffet, the shower surround was made of galvanized metal, the curtain rod was galvanized plumbing pipe, with vintage mirrors and accents all around.
So this concludes a tour of our 'home' for two days, I will blog more of our trip later. Stay tuned!
